What is UP! Let's get straight to it. I'm indifferent about pineapple being on pizza, I think toilet paper could roll out on either side without it being an issue, I know every word to Lil Wayne's "A Milli" (I realize this is a pro and a con), and I'm terrified of balloons. So if we're cool so far, keep reading :)
Below is my "why" on what I do what I do with some added fun facts along the way. Thanks for getting to know me a bit!
I'm a lot of other things in addition to being a photographer. I’m an opera singer, I’m in a bluegrass band called Kentucky Harmony, and I’m a hardcore plant mamma. I’m a true to the core Type 2 and Type 7, and an ENFP. I’m all about having a positive mindset, lifting others up, and embracing spontaneity!
I won’t lie to you… becoming a photographer wasn’t part of my plan. It was my favorite hobby that I was doing every second I wasn’t singing (which I'm still professionally doing and love equally as much). After casually shooting gigs for a few years, I didn’t realize it was actually one of my “jobs” because it never felt like one. Confucius says you should “choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life” and it is the absolute truth for me still to this day. This is the best damn job, y’all.
It’s so rewarding to bring out confidence in someone during a session, or watch a couple fall more in love with each other when they tell me their story, or witness two soulmates get married in front of their closest friends and family. And to freeze it all to be viewed forever? Gives me chills. Photography allows me to share in the pure joy and happiness of the people I work with. I am so grateful for this gift, and I hope we get to share it together next!

"Emma is an incredible photographer who exceeds all expectations not just in the quality of her work, but through her effervescent personality. We had a tiny wedding, and she captured the special and intimate feeling perfectly. I can’t explain how much these memories are enhanced by the accuracy and honesty I can see from her perspective and style as a photographer."
